Prestige Irradiated Oysters are carefully hand-picked, washed, banded, and processed using FDA-approved post-harvest irradiation technology. This method enhances food safety while keeping the oyster alive and preserving its natural flavor and texture.
Each oyster is individually banded to lock in freshness and extend shelf life up to 21 days from the date of processing.
Processed in a USDA-approved facility and validated through research at Texas A&M University’s Galveston Marine Science Laboratory, our irradiation process ensures confidence from harvest to plate.
